Shadbrook Paving Petition Receives Enough Support to Move to Next Step of Process
The petition recently circulated proposing the repaving of Shadbrook, Pinebrook, and Pickford Court was signed by 21 of the 34 households that would be impacted by the project. Twelve households voted NO on the petition, and there was one abstention.
This level of support exceeds the Township's minimum requirements to move forward with the project.
The petition will be turned into the Township the week of May 31 for review. The Township will: (a) validate the petition; (b) review a series of questions posed by residents and the Executive Board about the project; and (c) re-examine all costs. The Township with then schedule another public meeting to present its final recommendations, update costs, and answer all questions.
After this meeting, all Association members will have 14 days (and one last chance) to either withdraw (or add) their support.
Homeowners with questions about this project are encouraged to contact any Executive Board member, or the Township Engineer.
